Awful experience: attempted to pen a proper book review: directed to Amazon: total mess

I've used it a couple of times in the past month for some pretty pricey box sets. They arrived in great shape. Definitely gonna use it again!

I’m really pleased with my initial experience with this company.

I managed to locate the book I needed, brand new, at the lowest price available - plus, shipping was on the house.

They kept me in the loop about when it was sent out and when to expect it. It showed up well-packaged and shrink-wrapped.

Super satisfied with my experience and I’d definitely suggest them to others.

My order arrived in just a couple of days, and it’s fantastic—just what I wanted! I was a bit doubtful because the price was super low, but it’s totally worth it and brand new as well.

I reached out to Georgina after discovering PB bookstore as a vendor on Amazon. She and her crew went above and beyond to create a website just for me to place a large order of books to be sent to Europe. The whole experience was fantastic—she monitored every shipment (and there were quite a few) and kept me updated via phone and email during the entire shipping journey. Seriously, give this company a shot; they’re truly exceptional!

Top-notch service all the way. I had a few queries regarding the ISBN and the number of pages in this book. The folks at PBshop looked into everything and called me back a few hours after. Considering the book was released in Germany back in 2013, I think that's impressive service. I highly suggest these guys for their fantastic prices and service.

I placed an order for a book on August 13th and checked in on it on August 22nd, only to discover that they had canceled it, seemingly unable to find the book. I noticed it's available online from multiple sellers, but of course, the total cost is way higher, which is why I chose pbshop, also known as paperback shop. I didn’t catch those > 80% one-star ratings on Trustpilot back then. My advice? Just avoid it. Thankfully, even though my order was confirmed, I didn’t lose any cash, so no waiting around for a refund. Still, I wasted enough time.

I really appreciate the book, Paul McCartney Lyrics. I'm super happy with it! The price was great and the delivery was fast. The communication was excellent, and I’ll definitely be back for more. Thanks a bunch!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

They use a cheap and untrustworthy delivery service called Yodel.

They said my book was delivered today -

But guess what? The book is nowhere to be found.

How do I know? The delivery address is my shop!

I've been here all day waiting.

From past experiences with Yodel,

They just keep lying and lying, and then lying some more.

No decent company would trust such a bunch of clowns to handle their deliveries.

In conclusion -

Just a bunch of cheapskates who don’t give a hoot about customers once they’ve got your cash.

I just noticed - they don’t even care to get a copy of this review.

I placed an order on eBay and had to cancel it. The seller was nice enough to say, 'We have cancelled your order with us at your request. There is no need for you to do anything else.' But that was just the beginning of my troubles. They didn’t actually cancel it, nor did they issue a refund.

I opened a case with PayPal, but they kept saying it had to be closed. So, I closed it, yet they still insisted it needed to be closed, even though it was. My refund is still missing, the case is closed, and eBay can’t help me out.

eBay sensed something was off and reached out with support options. After thanking me for being a loyal customer for 15 years, they suggested I contact Consumer Directive, Trading Standards, or even the small claims court to get my money back from this seller. That was a real shocker.

I spent days dealing with this PayPal case, all because the seller kept pushing me to close it. eBay’s suggestions were a real kicker. I hope PayPal will step in and sort this out.

You’ll get one email a day from them, not counting weekends, and it’s poorly written, completely missing the point. They won’t check any relevant details before replying, and all you’ll get in return for your cash is dishonesty and a whole lot of anxiety.

eBay keeps saying the seller can issue the refund.

These folks are crooks. They led me to shut down my last line of defense against losing my money, which was the PayPal case. They knew exactly what they were doing.

Georgia and Hannah are not to be trusted; that’s my experience.

STAY AWAY! I’ve lost £31.61.

Today, my order showed up, and I gotta say, the delivery was quick and the packaging was top-notch. The item I got was a great deal, way cheaper than what I found in other places. The team was super responsive and really helpful when I reached out. Big thanks to pbshop.store!
